Looking back at our previous issues, and it’s pretty clear that JEM is among a select club of companies that produce wide body kits. In fact, compared with brands like Liberty Walk, Prior Design and Rocket Bunny, in 2018 JEM had the most wide body projects in his portfolio. And that’s quite an achievement for such a small company that doesn’t even commercializes his kits. But that’s about to change.

This time it’s time to introduce one of JEM’s latest creations based on the Golf 5. And let’s point out that this is a 4-doors Mk5, so the challenge to give it a wide appearance is a lot bigger when a car has two doors to many. JEM’s bodykits have one huge advantage compared to many other companies that produces wide body kits. The day you want to sell your car, you can ‘easily’ remove the added parts, and bring the car back to it’s original state of mind.

Bart, the owner of this orange metallic painted Mk5 chose for a coilover kit from KW, to be more precise the so called V3 kit. The KW coilover Variant 3 stands for cutting-edge motor sports technology for more performance on the road. With compression and rebound stage damping, that can be set separately and independently of each other, the damper setup can be customized to your own driving preferences or vehicle changes such as weight, tire characteristics or altered vehicle rigidity.

9-The KW coilover kit Variant 3 inox-line is the ideal accessory for performance-oriented drivers and tuning enthusiasts who place a high demand on sportiness at their vehicles. The dampers with their ‘TVR-A’ and ‘TVC-A’ technology that are separately adjustable in rebound and compression damping allow an extensive damper setup.
